a glimpse

Woman standing in front of frozen river in Seoul, South Korea

glimpse: FROZEN WATER UNDER THE BRDGE | What if the water under the bridge was frozen? Would it change anything? Would it change you? Would you change anything? Would your choice become easier or more difficult with more time at hand? And would it matter at all if you were looking the other way? Would you prefer to keep going with the flow?

A temple juxtaposing a TV tower in Seoul, South Korea

glimpse: MIDPOINT | Dear Next Generations, our present was your past as much as our ancestors' future. It was a time of change and juxtapositions, lingering on tomorrow's verge while clinging onto almost forgotten yesteryears. Past generations must have occupied the same torn spot on the timeline and so will you; yet I feel that we are exactly the midpoint, dangling in-between two wholly distinct eras. TV and Temples. Antennas and wood carvings. Flaking paint and lavish illumination lending colors to our cities. I hope your day will be as intriguing as ours. Best, Miles

glimpse: CANDY | World, give us candy, give us city, shower our aspirations of more with more aspirations, let us play a little longer, hide and seek in the dark, our shadows ripping the wrapper of night wide open.

neon-rice & snowy white

In a realm so contrasting that it juxtaposes the world's highest peaks with some of its most paradisiacal beaches, there's naturally much to see: gargantuan caves, neon green rice paddies, bizarre monoliths, brackish lagoons, blue lava and a volcano inside a volcano to name but a few.  see more
